Your diagnosis and available treatments will be discussed during your initial session. On occasion, the consultation and treatment can be completed on the same day. Contrarily, a complex medical history or treatment plan will call for an evaluation and a second appointment to administer therapy on a different day.
Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your consultation:
IMPORTANT: A parent or guardian must accompany all patients under 18 at the consultation visit and for treatment.
If you are currently taking any medications or have a medical condition that requires medication prior to receiving dental cleanings (such as diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.), please let the office know (i.e. heart drugs, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc). (For instance, pre-med students taking antibiotics.)
At Silver Mountain Dental, we use cutting-edge digital radiography! With the least amount of radiation exposure, this approach offers the most accurate diagnostic data.
Additionally, we provide a brand-new, cutting-edge 3D CBCT full mouth xray scanner.
Cone-beam computed tomography (CBT) modifies conventional computed tomography (CT) devices (CBCT). Dental professionals use CBCT devices, which revolve around the patient and use a cone-shaped X-ray beam to collect data. With the help of this data, a three-dimensional (3D) imaging of the patient's anatomy is produced, including the dental (teeth), oral and maxillofacial area (mouth, jaw, and neck), and ears, nose, and throat ("ENT").
